I can't believe I have been playing DOTA for 9 years and never knew I could center the camera on my hero without clicking the portrait, pan the camera without bumping the edge of the screen, or select non-hero units with a single button. Literally why I never play Micromanage heroes because I couldn't not control everyone at once. Mind-blown. I am going to start camera practicing now.

Imo, you might as well change everything when you start changing things. Then you'll be in a constant state of mind where you're prepared to relearn and think about where you put your fingers. If you only change one thing, it's easy to forget about it and just autopilot like usual.
The quickest way to relearn is to just play Overthrow or something for a few hours. Playing normal games requires waaaay to few actions, and thus it'll take 10x longer to relearn.

I've broken scroll wheels in the past 2 years using camera grip. Rip ss rival 300, cougar revenger and logitech g403 wireless

I just learned that camera grip is much more useful in laning phase than edge pan for camera positioning. Welp, you learn something everyday. gotta practice this after getting used to smart attack a year ago.

Whenever RTZ selects his hero, his camera glides towards his hero not skipping a vision in between from camera view. How to set that up?

16:40 the saved camera position works so well for me.
especially i set few cams near towers so i can TP on time. you should try it out.
i got used to it coz playing RTS like brood war and war3

3:19. He didnt need to move his camera as per your advice, it would suffice to look at his minimap as the mirana was getting near to him. From there he could have judged whether commiting to the fight was a good idea or not. Dire even had a ward on radiant tier 1 tower. Wrong example for the lesson my friend.

One of the things I have never seen used but really helped my is deactivating "Unit query overrides hero control console" option. This shows selected unit's info on a separate control console that opens up from the right hand side. You can see both your and selected unit's info at the same time and prevents fucking up your spells by accidently selecting enemy hero mid fight. You can re-select your hero with shortcut but team fights are not always that calm.

While I'll happily concede the first guy died as he did because of poor camera position during the fight, the reason he didn't react to the gank before it started was not because of camera position, that was poor map awareness.

just learn to use mouse 3 to move screen also play with high mouse sensitivity plus always click on ur minimap to see what's going around
