Toyota has really come up with some amazing cars in recent years. They have been slowly upgrading them, giving them new designs and technologies. Because of this, they have really stood out in the market. Toyota has ensured they have cars in every segment, ranging from luxury SUVs to sedans. And now, they have planned to make the Toyota RAV4 much better than it was. They have introduced the 2025 Toyota RAV4, but it is just a concept. Right now, we can only guess what it will look like and what new technologies it will come with. So, what can we expect from the 2025 Toyota RAV4? Let’s find out, shall we?
Hello, everyone, and welcome back to our channel. Today, we will look at the 2025 Toyota RAV4 as we find out what we can expect from it. But before we continue, make sure you leave a like and subscribe to our channel for more amazing updates on your favorite cars. And with that, let’s find out what the 2025 Toyota RAV4 has to offer.
Toyota has released some mind-boggling cars for the 2024-year models. However, it was a bit slowed down as they introduced some major series. Some Toyota models we have seen in 2024 are the GR Corolla, the Camry, and the best-selling RAV4 compact crossover SUV. And talking of the latter, it has been a best-selling crossover SUV for quite some time now. Apart from topping the leaderboard in terms of sales in the crossover segment, it has also consistently been one of the best-selling models in the United States.
The largest expectation we can have for the 2025 RAV4 is that it will mark the start of a new generation of SUVs. The current generation RAV4 was introduced in 2019 and is now going into its sixth model year. This car has historically been around where full rehauls are done. There have been rumors that the 2025 Toyota RAV4 will be the first model year to be released for the sixth generation. But what do we mean by a new generation? This means that Toyota might completely rebuild the RAV4, including new technology, giving it a completely new look and re-looking at its powertrains. They might also add new color options for the popular SUV.
While still on the topic of new design for the new generation RAV4, there have been some images from different sources portraying what the new generation car might look like. And from the looks of it, people seem to be expecting something a bit more angular at the front. People have imagined the 2025 RAV4 with some sharp edges and boxy look. This is somehow close to the latest design cues from Toyota with their recent models. People have also imagined what the rear will look like, giving it sharper edges and taillights that have a striking look to them. As for the interior, people have not really come up with what it might look like. However, there are still some expectations about it, making it more modern.
If it is a new generation, we can expect that the 2025 RAV4 will also come with a different range of powertrains. We all know that powertrains are always a big point of contention when looking towards the future. And right now, electrification is upon us. Because of this, many brands, including Toyota, are jumping on the bandwagon for good reason. Electric vehicles and hybrids are now taking over the market. The RAV4 is potentially on the block to eliminate its combustion engine and become a pure hybrid SUV.
Another change that we might see with the 2025 Toyota RAV4 is the wheels. In recent models, Toyota has been slowly switching to alloy wheels. This has been seen in the new Toyota models that have come out, such as the Toyota Crown Crossover. They are equipped with alloy wheels across the board. In addition, Toyota has also slowly included alloy wheels in more and more trim levels of the RAV4 over time. It seems that the 2025 sixth-generation RAV4 might also come with alloy wheels.
The benefits of alloy wheels are prominent across the range. Steel wheels have historically been the default because they are generally cheaper. However, alloy wheels are much lighter, which means they offer better performance, fuel economy, and a general increase in reliability.
There is so much we can expect from the 2025 Toyota RAV4. And if they do release it as the start of the sixth generation, we might be in for the greatest treat ever.
What do you think of the 2025 Toyota RAV4? What features are you expecting to see? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below. Also, before you go, make sure you leave a like and subscribe to our channel for more amazing updates on your favorite cars.

Hope they keep it a 5 seater, not 6-7 bloat.

I’d like to see the infotainment screen incorporated into the dashboard with the other gauges. It still looks like the screen has been added as an after thought and partially blocks the sight line.

I hope they make the rear doors with the ability to swing wider. With kids it’s tough to get car seats situated or other larger items in via the 2nd row. That’s it’s :)

I think the new 2025 toyota rav4 be redesign with a more stylish look with all trims with alloys wheels 🛞 and improved horsepower and torque suspension and the natural aspirated 4 cylinders gas engine more driving dynamic
Like the mazda cx5 or cx50 I will be one of the first to purchase come on toyota I know you can do it.

Regular Rav4s are as fast as a v6 1997 4Runner.. they need more power for their weight..

I haven’t received a price quote here in BC, Canada but the big problem is there is no inventory of RAV4’s for any dealer and a shortage of other vehicles like the Camry. They seem to have a large stock of bZ4X’s at CND $59, 000 to $60, 000 + before rebates. I mentioned it previously but I think the second row needs to be enlarged especially if you compare it to the 2024 CR V. The front and rear ends badly need to be restyled in a more simplistic way from the current. Again look at the CR V which has nailed it in the styling department. Can we put the mixed LED lights to bed and just make it LED across the board?

I sure hope the shape will look like the artists idea shown here…wow looks so sporty and sleek!

Toyota: PLEASE don’t go the BLACK ALLOY WHEEL ROUTE like the CR V has gone. There are many buyers out there that want an aluminum alloy wheel. If you must PLEASE offer a choice of either at no extra cost. This is a dealbreaker for many buyers. Please continue to offer a naturally aspirated engine and stay away from turbos and CVT transmissions. One last thing please, please make the wheel well trim pieces go ALL THE WAY AROUND at the same width where it meets the splash guards. I think there are a lot of buyers that want a gasoline powered car only and not a hybrid so please don’t discontinue the gas models. Thank you!

That is if they have the parts to make the 2025 model, they are struggling with the current model to start... and the dealers are marking up the price like crazy...

I want to see more choices in interior color. Light gray, like my 2010 Prius, with white exterior is what I’d like but tan exterior is acceptable. Anything but black, charcoal or dark gray.

What do expect from 2025 Toyota rav 4, well if you have provided no information on it and you keep saying you are guessing . What do expect my response will be, plus they are still selling 2023 models with a wait period, good luck Toyota .

The starting cost for all of Toyota models have gone up way too much. I want to pay only 31k out the door for a Rav4 XLE.

It's a pity to see reviews about the Rav 4 from many YouTube Rs saying the same thing in 100 versions! It's a complete headache to keep constantly hearing the same thing over & over. The problem stays the same! Leg room at the back seat still sucks. When you press the gas pedal, you hear the motor sort of crying as if saying :"don't be harsh on me!" I've test drive the Haval H6, it has torque, it pulls effortless, no wind noise inside the cabin. So many benefits from that H6 on behalf of Chinese car makers compared to Japanese car makers! Go damn Toyota, it's about time that you grow up the size of the Rav 4 to create more leg room at the back seat. Despite it has a 2.5 litres engine, it takes time to gain on speed on the highway. Why did Toyota create the Toyota Cross hybrid which looks nearly same as the Rav 4 but slightly smaller? The Rav 4 must grow longer, larger & taller. It still sucks. I have driven the actual Rav 4 so many times & when some tall peopke got into it at the back seat, they had to struggle due poor leg room.

I like Rav 4's but one Big zonk would be their navigational screen because for years they have displayed their screens with thick black borders which in todays standard
for full screen displays with very limited or no black borders, makes the Rav 4 screens look very antiquated.... For the Rav 4 screen, Toyota please Wake up on that issue.

Hope they don't do the hammerhead front. Keep it to just the Prius family.
