It’s false that getting saved or praying instantly solves your problems. I’m an ex meth addict. I’ve been clean for 10 years. It’s hard. But I learned quickly, when you’re sinning and ruining your life the devil isn’t afraid of you. When you start doing the right thing however, he doubles down on you. So I never post but… before I got clean, used to pray on the way to get alcohol that the doors were locked or shutdown.. this hits hard. Going on 7 years sober!!!!

15 years sober this year. Went to hell and back. Literally. 3 days in a coma, 8 days in ICU, all while handcuffed to a hospital bed facing 10 years in prison. I was at my breaking point. I remember feeling like there was nothing after getting high. It was either stay high or learn to live in misery. It was all a lie that my demons made me believe. After about a year or two of being sober, you realize it was all a trick. You just have to get that far. Tom is truly the greatest.

Addiction is no joke. God saved me. Long story, but I made it out. Took me 18 years to return to the Catholic Church and I feel reborn. I keep praying for my brother to kick his addictions and join me.

This song is my anthem! I've been clean for 16 years from methadone and my husband has been sober for 16 years as well. We met 6 months after we decided to get clean. Our relationship is so strong bc of sobriety. I turned to God during my time of trying to get clean. My father is has been an alcoholic all his life and I didn't want to be like him. Had alcoholic father, drank since he was 10 yrs old, he found The Lord and stopped cold turkey at 43 yrs old, he's been sober for 38 yrs now...he just celebrated his 81st birthday Feb 1st. God is so good! ❤

15 years a drunk. I'm going to be 45. My son came up last night, step son, but have been in his life since he was 5, he is 22 now. His real Dad was an alcoholic also, he died last year, he came up and asked me to stop drinking cause he didn't want to lose me too. I also have 5 awesome grandbabies. Thank you Tom.
