seems to be a small & lightweight tripod, but the broken parts would be a dealbreaker for me. Congrats man to pass 10.000 subs!!!👍🏻Keep on!!!

At this price for a carbon fibre tripod, I guess that's just the unfortunate reality. On my K&F BA225, the top section that holds the ball head completely snapped off! - I had to use one of those adhesives that you mix to glue it back on as superglue wouldn't hold it, knock on wood it's been holding well since - at the price though I can't complain too much :)
It's worth considering the BA225 if this breaks:
- K&F BA225: 35cm folded, 152cm max height, 8kg load capacity, 1013g carbon fibre, converts to monopod
- Sirui Traveler 5C: 33cm folded, 138cm max height, 4kg load capacity, 850g carbon fibre - 163g lighter, impressive.

Sirui needs to do something about those plastic stoppers, it's a very well known issue with this tripod at this point.

You can use the tripod without the shims, but it's really annoying since you have to be very careful when extending the legs. I don't know why they use them... they are the same even on their bigger tripods. One broke on my R-3213X.

Did you over tighten the legs? You're the only person I've seen complain about the shims. That's all!

Roma, got the same exact issues... hey, how about that email address you got? I went to their online store and a set of shims was over $30, with shipping ... from Australia! Jeez!

Why do you want to buy the overpriced Peak Design Travel tripod? There are far better options on the market (Benro, Sirui, Leofoto and many others)! 🤔
