Just East of Bassville, Ms a tornado killed at least 4 in where the only thing left of a home is the slab, no trees are left standing and the stumps of the trees are debarked. Cars were thrown. Spoke to a family member who lost loved ones and also had to transport another to the hospital. This is likely EF4+ damage. Shots of other homes destroyed, trailers, semi and mobile home flipped or thrown.

So now they're in the middle of a pandemic... with no place to go.
This might not end well. Hopefully hotels open up rooms for people in need.

Was watching on radar as this passed over Bassfield. The velocity scan was insane on this and the one behind it.

I live in South Carolina and we were in red on the radar and we got a tornado warning but the tornado did not go to spartanburg or boiling springs sc sorry for all the people that lost valuable stuff and like homes or relatives and works stay safe during the aftermath of the storm and the virus

That has to be a f4 or f5 peak radar measured winds over 200mph I would not be surprised if its given an ef5 which woudl be the first one since the 2013 Oklahoma one

Kind of crazy to think that we've potentially had at least three potential EF5s in the past 12 hours; this one, one in northern Georgia, and I'm hearing reports of catastrophic damage to the west of Walterboro, SC.

Prayers for All in the path of this destruction. Condolences for families that had loved ones killed by this force of nature. In just a few minutes lives are totally destroyed.

This is the town I live in. I was at work an hour's drive away and we had another tornado north of us. This region might as well be dubbed a "mini tornado alley" because in Sumrall, the town over, I was caught in the middle of a high ef2 last December at work and had to pull out several of our female resident's from under a wall in the women's group home that neighbored the men's home I worked in (only minor injuries everybody was okay). I never was really scared of bad weather until then. So far there are 3 confirmed deaths and several missing in Bassfield. We are a very small town so the death toll could've been way worse if we had a denser population because that thing was MASSIVE.

Prayers for everyone down South. This is the time to repent and draw closer to God. Our lives can change in a second. This is bible prophecies at warp speed...but not be afraid. With this virus and now these killer tornadoes...people losing homes and lives, repent and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord. God bless you all and be safe🙏💕
