I think they main issue with pricing common cards is actually selling them. Sure thats their theoretical price point but besides good cards like super nimble hamster, Feather duster and such, i feel many of them would put on dust in the listings.

When you include the time going to the store or online to buy that, opening them, then making all of the listings, then (on the off chance they sell), packaging and shipping each order, you'll make close to nothing. Literally, you would make more working at McDonalds.

Structure deck cards are worth the lowest value cuz you get what you pay for and you know what your getting. Booster packs are the most value especially classics

You for sure lose money selling singles under a dollar on tcg player between the fees and cost of shipping (top loaders, team bags, stamps, printing) it always a losing situation and God forbid you get a zip code that doesn't like the toploaders. Charges your buyer extra just for them to throw a fit and you refund everything while they keep the card and its double the loss lol I never recommend doing them. Just move bulk as a bulk lot somewhere. You'll get a fraction of market value but in the end its worth avoiding the hassle and time that goes into it all.

Back the day between 1995-2020 there was no Slifer or Obelisk Structure Deck. Until these days. Yugioh is easy play now..back then Yugioh in 2000-2012, yugioh was mess there. Im glad nowadays Yugioh in 2013-2021 became more playable. Now anyone can pick up a Structure deck and play. I like that. Organize and ready to go.

Yea? Profit? That 49¢ card costs over 50¢ to ship plus PayPal fees for eBay so you actually lose money if you sold on eBay. Where are you selling that will make this turn into a +100% profit?
