He was just a man that when you look at how he took the movements to people who hate.
What he endured for that message he was just a man.
One of the original organizers of BLM but not to many knew that. He live his life with that tone, heed his words and if I or anyone else can live to accomplish a fraction of his life, then it is more than a start.
John Lewis was just a man .
A SUPERMAN if there ever was one. Peace be with you .

I am so sad to hear the death of Mr John Lewis. What an amazing man he was.

He stood Shoulder to shoulder with the late Dr Martin Luther King (Jr) in the 1960's Non-Violent Civil Rights Movement.

He will be revered alongside other prominent Leaders that were fighting for the advancement and improvement of Africans and Afro-Americans
such as Booker T Washington, Rosa Parks, Steve Biko, Martin Luther King (Jr), Malcolm X, Nelson Mandela.

Mr Lewis, thank you for teaching us never to give up and never give in. Rest In Peace.

John Lewis was a strong man of deep honor and the righteous voice of the civil rights movement - without ever being self-righteous. His words will inspire beyond his days. His actions have guided humanity towards a better place. His passing will leave a gaping void of compassion, wisdom, of social empathy and understanding. It is now the time for each American individual to choose how we fill that void.
“When you see something that is not right, not fair, not just, you have to speak up. You have to say something. You have to do something.”
John Lewis

Edmund pettus was an officer in the confederate army. This bridge should be renamed the John Lewis bridge. It’s because of Lewis that the bridge is famous.

"Downtown Atlanta. This is truly the heart of congressman Lewis?' Perhaps the reporter was trying to say Lewis died of a broken heart to see Atlanta's homicide rate skyrocket. Stop the violence people!
