Since our favorite reality tv show, America's Got Talent, is back with a spin-off series, AGT: ALL-STARS, you might be wondering if the legendary dance troupe, Zurcaroh, is making a comeback. This unique dance troupe was a fan favorite in the 13th season of America's Got Talent and still is. The group of 48 performers is unlike anything you've witnessed before, blending dance, gymnastics, and acrobatics into one excellent act.

With their stunning multiple flips and showcasing circus-style trapeze acts, their act is quite the show. But is Zurcaroh still performing? Where are They now? What happened to them? Let's Find out:

These guys took dance to a breathtaking new level of creativity, imagination, and sheer daring. When I saw them on AGT, I instantly knew I'd seen a world-class performance that touched my heart. As a HS teacher, I've shown their inspirational videos to hundreds of teens who love them as much as I do. What's not to love about them? I hope they will return soon.

For clarification, Zurcaroh won a de-facto world championchip title at FIG in 2013, in 2017 they participated in France got Talent, received a golden buzzer and ended up as runner up in this competition, similar as they did in 2018 AGT version.

In an interview a couple years later Peterson Da Cruz Horah was asked if he felt somehow disappointed for placing 2nd in both France and American versions of Got Talent and he clearly said they never thought of ever reaching finals in any of those competitions, let alone as being considered as "potential winners" of those competitions. He mentioned that they only prepared routines for their audition and for the quarter finals and to some degree parts of their semi-final performances which though were also part of their regular program. So they did not specifically create something from scratch till they reached the semi-finals that's when they slowly started to panic as a couple of their proposals in terms of costumes, music and acts got declined by the producers. In that interview Peterson also mentioned that a day before the winner was announced he and a couple of elder members of the group were called in by the producers and were asked whether they are able to come up with an at least hour long show for Vegas that should run for roughly a month that's when they told the producers they can't do that as they have obligations in form of school, work and some other performances they agreed to participate in. They then also were asked to participate in AGT all-stars which just stepped in the same vein though. They actually feared of winning this show as this would have meant that they need to do a Vegas show by contract and thus were relieved when they learned that they "only" ended up in second place. Only the little ones in their group were a bit disappointed as they did not realize what winning would mean in terms of contractual bindings.

Their promotional video "Refuge" was also released in 2017 before their France Got Talent performance and not in 2020 as mentioned here in this video. Furthermore, Zurcaroh participated in a couple other shows after AGT. The video here already mentioned the Royal Variety Performance in 2019 but they also participated in the X-Mas show of Helene Fischer in 2018, as guests at FIG Gala/Gymnastrada in 2019 in more or less their hometown where the Freaks (similar group from Upper Austria; participants of BGT in 2022; and only one team of a country is invited by FIG sadly) were actually invited to perform, they also had performances in Egypt and Brasil afterwards besides some minor local gymnastic events in Central Europe. Performances in last years were more or less canceled due to COVID and local regulations and besides that, 5 years have passed since then and their little ones are now teenagers which can't be tossed around that easily any more.
