How to make a lego gun that shoots

I had to make a projectile launcher for physics class thats able to store energy then fire. This is the easiest one of all the videos ive seen. I was able to build this with my lego, thank you

Instructions unclear when i pulled the trigger the rubber band dint move but the back peice flung in
