It's WAHOO MADNESS on the high seas! We're 10 days into our 3,000 nautical mile voyage across the Pacific Ocean, and King Neptune is about to bless us with our most exciting moment of the trip yet...After downing a lunch of freshly caught fish tacos from a skipjack we snagged that morning, the crew was getting lulled into a food coma/siesta mode with the rolling of the boat. But we sprang to life when we heard that unmistakeable sound.....FISH ON!!! We hook an absolute MONSTER that puts our fishing skills to the test. After prepping the fish and managing to fit the obscene amount of wahoo into our fridges and freezers, the only thing left to do is enjoy the fruits of our labor...a catch and cook fit for kings with some fat and juicy wahoo steaks!

I love you guys, you inspire us every episode!!
Constructive criticism, review the way of dealing with garbage. Aluminum cans can take 500 years to degrade. Glass over 1, 000 years old. They are recyclable, odorless, easy to compress and store. Can you imagine if every boat threw aluminum cans and glass bottles into the sea?
You are an example for many of us and we would like you to continue like this!!❤

Absolutely stunned at you. Modern aluminum cans are chemically treated with a plastic coating. Pop cans, or soda cans, are typically treated with a plastic coating that protects the aluminium material of the metal container from the potentially corrosive soda drink that is held within.

I agree with the comments below about the aluminum cans getting tossed overboard...not good. The glass on the other hand I think in deep oceans will become sea glass eventually or possibly provide a new home for a deep sea creature in the depths or become a coral reef some day. When I lived on Maui I saw the southern cross from Makena Beach....once you see it in the sky you know exactly what it is without a doubt. May you have fair winds & calm seas on your journeys. Aloha Delos crew.

Great fish ..another awesome episode . With your cans, get a Hammer and squash them into little pucks . Glass can be broken / smashed and stored until you reach land . You carried these items on board before you set sail, so storing them should not be a problem . Apart from food items, The Navy returns all other Rubbish to the mainland to be disposed of .

The Wahoo sequence was f*cking insane. I can honestly say, that was perfectly shot and edited. Hats of!

3:32 Love your videos! But: aluminum cans have a plastic liner inside them, so I wouldn't throw them overboard

Love your channel, never seen anything to complain about until now. Recycle, reduce, re-use. 200 years for your aluminum cans to disappear in the ocean, google it. I know it's not pleasant to read this. Still love watching your video's. I wish you well with good sailing always.

Delos and her crew has been one of my largest influencers to go sailing for the last, 10 years? How time flies! In August I will start learning how to sail! Thanks Delos! ❤

Nothing like a restaurant quality dinner out in the middle of the ocean. Tiki music helps the mood also.

I love your videos. Long time subscriber. I >hate< to be the one to inform you of this fact: aluminum cans are lined with BPA plastic.

great video...but may want to edit out (or write a note) about that bit of tossing the aluminum cans...aluminum cans are lined in plastic...also aluminum is very recyclable, better to bring them back.

It's so amazing to see Nuggs growing up each week and even cooler to see Brian and Kazz grow as spectacular parents raising her at Sea! The crew is so awesome too as they are there to help them out every and any step of the way. My favourite part of the week is seeing what the Delos Crew were up to, on Friday's -- Cheers Delos Tribe!

Long-term vicarious fan here. I'm stoked to see Delos on the high seas again. This cruise to French Polynesia reminds me of your days in the Indian Ocean when I first stumbled on your channel. Bravo Zulu! You are truly inspirational! Equally important, Nugget is adorable, and I'm impressed by your parenting skills.
I would like, however, to address one thing, and I hope my words will convey my good intention. When you speak about and display throwing cans overboard at 3:23, please note that all aluminum cans have a coating of a thin plastic layer on the inside to protect sodas' phosphoric and citric acids from reacting with the metal. Equally, the printed branding on the outside is made of toxic inks and covered with a super-thin layer of plastic. Thus no aluminum can these days is aluminum-only. In throwing one overboard, you inevitably — albeit unintentionally — put the plastic into the ocean. And, while a can will corrode and might dissolve eventually, the plastic layer on it never will.
I am not criticizing you. I am not pointing fingers. I am only pointing out something I believe you can do without. I am also not nitpicking here; the natural world needs us today more than ever. There is enough space onboard Delos to store those cans while sailing and dispose of them later on the land. In light of your overall environmental consciousness — which, as far as I could tell, is exemplary — I believe you could and should consider this.
Again, I hope my words in this comment will be able to communicate nothing more than simple care for nature from an environmentally conscious person.
Have a great time! I will be looking forward to your next video! Actually, I'm already impatient! :)
