Python for Kids - Turtle module Beginner - Hex Head

This video was originally made for instruction in our centre in Red Deer, Alberta. We are placing them online at the request of our students, so they can continue at home. Due to Covid 19 & social distancing we no longer have in centre camps.

This game uses the Espeak module in Linux to make a character talk. The module being used for graphics is the turtle module, the rest is pure Python.

You may want to skip this tutorial if you are not on a Linux system or a Raspberry Pi. If you are adventurous there are some windows instructions below for setting up Espeak on Windows.
