Could I potentially show THIS to a hair stylist as I have long hair that I've grown from having BALD patches.. Although it's always been very fine, the ends are scraggly looking and I wouldn't know what 2 do with ✂️! I'm embarrassed 2 admit I tried and OMG...U make your masterpieces look effortless when they come from A LOT of hard work, passion, patience, and tenacity I imagine! Not just talent alone! I appreciate your channel so MUCH and how honest you are & how educational you are! Thank You! 🙏
- Would U even recommend me dying dark hair by myself as I've had some horror stories from salons (high end ones)?? But my hair has grown back Very dark & I have low contrast facial features 2 where the 1st thing ANYONE says when they see me who hasn't in a while "WOW your hair is SO dark!" I just say, "nice to see you!" But I already agree before that began 2 occur & my hair may not take a full platinum blonde but a 7WG was suggested by a Licensed Salon Expert as a base color and then using a lightener which I've used before w/ good results...I just cannot cut hair which I know that! So I was thinking of using A lightener with a bonder as my hair grew back to a level 5 so it's virgin hair NOW... But would a hair stylist be offended if I showed them a video of yours or asked if they could frame my face contours or work with fine hair? (It's growing longer and stronger but needs some color to lighten facial features bc I'm pale with green eyes (this is a VERY old pic shown fyi) Just Thank U 4 ALL u do!!!
Also I have always tipped 45% but Again - had horrific experiences at salons over the past 7-8 yrs so I began doing it myself which doesn't make me a pro or even a colorist! I am just scared to pay so MUCH $$$ to have it go wrong AGAIN! Thoughts on dying hair that is a 5 that's virgin hair a 7WG vs a 7A as a base color and then adding some horizontal baby lights which I will apply a toner after and baby it as I have been doing & then getting it trimmed, shaped and cut as much as necessary, Please 🙏? Forgive me as I know U r so busy but I love what you and your wife have done and your story for starting your salon and investing in All those mannequins!! Brilliant! avant garde!

I’m a customer and can never tell a stylist how to cut my hair! I can show a picture but it’s still not enough. I have very fine hair and my ideal cut is very similar to this, but I like another section added in for a softly layered bang parted to the left. How do you add that in? Want a picture?? 😊
