White Robe

When you collect all of the symbols in the game, you will get the trophy Transcedence as well unlock a new white/gold robe costume. The new robe, as well as being lovely to look at, also recharges your cape upon landing on the ground.

Granted this comment is coming pretty late.. But WOW. I was blown away by this. Sadly I do all my gaming on my PC and do not own a ps3.. So thank you, Mungry for your walkthrough. It was breathtaking.

I like how you see the other journeyers at the credits who are just climbing the mountain :D with your rebirth at the end the whole thing is like a circle (like life) THIS game is truly a masterpiece standing far ahead of all games... this is the perfect ART meets Game . Nice commentary. I played the game 16 times so far (from scratch to finish) and it always makes me cry at the end :( its hard to describe the feeling you go trough when you lift up to the mountain... you have to experience it

I wouldn't say so, the mechanical beasts were just armoured cloth creatures. What destroyed the civilization was the fighting over the life-giving cloth. Some of the murals showed the great stone snakes somehow used for agriculture before you get to the cave level.
I think the real message of this game is part of it's gameplay. It strips away everything that you think about yourself and want others to think about you, leaving everyone equal in the eyes of one another.

@SoooMungry Bewdy mate, went through it again, this time having a better idea. Love the huge expanses that each level holds. Like the idea of not knowing who your playing with, all round a great game! Bring on part 2!!!!

This music is so beautiful. I want it on my iPod! Also in one of the episodes I was looking at one of the murals and I think those serpent cape snatcher thingees are the reason the world is in ruins. Also there were the cloak dudes under the grounds with the headstones on the surface. I'm guessing that those things were responsible for the clock dudes near-extinction.

I feel that Journey's story draws a parrellel to human life. At first glance one could see that the main characters race relied on the ribbons and built a society upon this reliance on them. However, as technology grew their society abbandoned the ribbons and started to rely on mechinical beasts. To relate, humans are now starting to abbandon nature and are relying more on technology. So perhaps the message of this game is that if we keep relying on man made things we as humans will be destroyed
