This was hard for me to swallow. My wife is continuing her education and getting a masters degree. And while I make good money, she will eventually make more money than me. At first, it bothered me, but now I feel better.

My ex only cared about his own financial status. All he spoke about was how much his paycheck was in comparison to his coworkers which was fine im open for discussion and for supporting him but when that’s all you talk about… it get tiring just to continuously feed his ego.

I have been saying this for so long. In the whole history of humanity, until modern times, financial power had nothing to do with men or women.

Then it did after industrial development. So women were forced into homes and men were forced into work forces. The complete social opression of women, historically, wasn't very common until a few hundred years ago.
