What is a tech tarp, you ask? Well it's a very strong, heavy duty tarp that has load-bearing webbing all over the place and can be used as a hammock, a stretcher, a tent, and even with a zip as a door or to use as a poncho. Here Sepp Fischer and I take a first look at it.

That is .. a neat looking tarp 👍. One can see that a lot of thought went into it's design .. quite impressive at face value.

The tarp you have is looking great and must be very comfortable as well. I have two tarps, but nothing like that one, but I would like to buy one like it to have handy for camping.

That's a nice piece of equipment. I can't sleep in a hammock but I'm sure you were comfortable and that's what matters. I do like "options" however.

Hey Susanne, ich hab das Tarp auch schon im letzten Jahr auf der Outdoor Messe gesehen.
Der Multi-USE Aspekt ist schon cool vor allem durch den Reißverschluss.
Auch wenn es winddicht ist, wirst du da relativ schnell nen kalten Arsch kriegen - ein Underquilt wird da ja leider nicht funktionieren, da der ja von außen nass wird und bei Regen vermute ich dass dir da das Wasser von den Seiten her reinläuft.
Das wären zumindest so meine Bedenken bei dem Tarp, aber ich bin mir sicher, dass du das ganze auf Herz und Nieren ausprobieren wirst und uns deine Erfahrungen damit mitteilst.

wie ist der Schlafkomfort als Hängematte ? Vergleichbar mit einer normalen Hängematte, oder eher eine Notlösung? Die Kombi mit dem Jeven, ist das warm genug?

That looks really good. Did you say it could fit two people. I see that as a possible, but you would have to put some kit else where. Plus it looks snug. :D
