I'm Phill O'Neill from Australia and I hope you're having a fantastic day.
With all these pandemic imposed lockdowns I've been spending more time in my home studio recording and offering online lessons.
However, being a ribbon microphone it requires good quality preamps to get the best out of it.
In this video I compare my budget friendly Presonus preamps with the very expensive well recommended API512C preamp.
I have overdubbed myself playing NBA Fanfare by David Basdan on my Stomvi trumpets.
