X-Plane 12 - Testing the X-Plane 11 SR-71

I copy over the SR-71 from XP11 (including a sound and effects mod) and see how it does in XP12. I don't complete the flight due to an interruption, but I get a pretty definite sense of the plane's usability and what needs to be fixed.

I'm thinking...maybe the four engines are 2 turbofans and 2 ramjets. The SR operates on the turbofans then, once supersonic, the ramjets take over. This would explain why the sets of engines perform so differently.

NOTE: XP12 for Windows does not include OpenAL support like XP11 does, so unfortunately any plugins which use OpenAL will fail to load. Such plugins should work fine under MacOS or Linux because those operating systems include OpenAL support by default, but Windows does not. So if some expected sounds are missing and an XP11 plugin doesn't load, that could be why. I wish Laminar Research had kept OpenAL support, but... THEY weren't using it, so they decided to remove it. I suppose the OpenAL DLL could be copied from XP11 as well for those wanting to use older plugins which rely on OpenAL.

You took a look at plane maker after this I assume, so you know about the rockets. Yes MGouge put it there, I checked back in XP11. And the front sound cutoff that simulates supersonic flight, if you move the camera further from the plane the sound is gone. Idk how or why SimAcoustics did that but judging by a point around 8:00 minutes and more, you were getting close to figuring that out already.
I just bought the pack like a week ago because I can't run XP12 so ye I tried everything I could with the sound pack. Except, the oxygen sound I saw in the GUID, which I'm about to try right after putting up this comment, as I added 500 litre of pure oxygen for the pilot in plane maker.
