Best B5 Mods (A4 And S4) | Which Are Really Worth Your Money?

Today I thought it would be a fun idea to take a step back and do a follow up on all the mods that brought the B5 S4 to where it is today. It has come a long ways, and I've always thought it was fun to reflect on what were my favorite steps along the way.

I’m refreshing my b5 1.8t . I got the bigger side intercooler from apikol. all the maintenance is done down to a new brake fluid reservoir. I got a new stigan turbo k03 and am just lightening the car where I can . The turbo is performing well with no problems. The car runs tip top and I’m very proud of how quick it’s become . You’ve been giving me motivation to keep up the work with your videos

Love it. Fellow Washington B5 S4, also maxed out stage two. Need to install coilovers but while competent, i don’t have the tools to get it done properly. Same goes for the 1-2 Shift collar. Great content brotha

All the way from Capetown south Africa here we done have the b5 s4 only the base model a4 I have been a bmw owner for the pass 7 years and recently found a liking in the a4 b5 model and watching this video I made up my mind next. Car I'm saving up for is audi only problem I hate front wheel drive car skids is life 😅😂😂

personally i recomend a mid 1999 onwards 2001 model as that being the final facelift model, electron boot open, inside a more comfort interior and a+c pillars got airbags aswell, a nice everyday comfort combo in a classic car:)

I have an A3 8L, 1.9tdi (Portugal), because of my grandfather, who had an A4 B5 Avant, +400k kms and healthy + pristine interior and exterior.
When I was a little boy playing pc in the office, I could hear the engine coming from far, low revs, that clock working, and the big noise, that just amused me, I thought that that engine was a monster (size).
Today, I could have an A5 3.0Tdi, witch is a totally different car... BUT, I just spent some of the money converting my A3 chassi to an S3 chassi.
It's my dream car, and it was offered to me by my old man.
I miss him so much... This car will be always by my side, and I tell you, whenever I pass on a street full of people, I love the moment that the guys looking at the car at the same time.
This models (8L + B5) are old, but the design makes them almost recent!!

Getting mines all back in shape. I need a few interior trim pieces and the factory airbox. I got the car with the oem one deleted. My biggest headache tho is the radio. For whatever reason its stuck and I can't remove it. I apparently have a ground fault somewhere in the wiring harness to it causing com issues with my obd port and a/c controls. The fuse on the drivers side dash keeps immediately blowing. Other than that the car is great! K04's and supported mods coming soon! Great video!!!

the b5 chassis is very underrated in general as a chassis, its a pretty short wheelbase and its quite stiff for its age

The stigma is against the boost gauge in the air vent, get a steering column mounted one or put it on the a pillar. Those ones in the vent just look temu to me

Ive been driving, and working on b5's for about 12 years now. This gave me the boost i needed to keep going on a b5 1.8t build i gave up on last summer. Your s4 is very tastefully done. And all that euro impulse carbon fiber man you must have clos 3k in carbon in that thing with the intake pipe and mirror caps. nice! And anyone wondering if the bcracing coilovers are worth getting, absolutely hands down. Make sure you get the swift springs option.
