“Because that dude on his bell is going to get annoying real quick”

Me: Why? Because he is hard to kill?

*FURIOUS BELL NOISES*

Me: Oh

I like the skaven bell, it's just faint enough and infrequent enough to make you think you're going crazy

Ah yes the caster with one of the most powerful spells in the game atm greatly reduced in cost and barrier to boot.

I'm the one who submitted this doomstack (I did the Mannfred one in Warhammer 2 and Azazel). Here's some details. Beyond Drazhoath being the most viable chorf legendary lord (being a spellcaster, decent in melee AND a flyer), a lot of his strength comes from items combos and the barrier.

There’s a lot of super powerful items available and I had to make several choices (although I think it’d still be viable with other items). Something weird happened because normally he was supposed to have the mirror shield equipped, not the armor of destiny, so don’t know what happened there. I didn’t take the item that gives spell intensity, because the other item provides extra physical protection and added health (which means extra barrier). I chose this weapon because it was the only one giving him magical attacks. I hesitated for the Valaya item, but ultimately decided that extra health and barrier was better than melee defence.

I didn’t paint the map to get thousands of magic because it was already very time consuming and I thought 250 magic reserve was already enough to prove a point.

I did all the traits required, and I only did one (small) mistake. I killed Tretch very early thinking I woulnd’t need him but later down the track I changed my mind but never managed to revive him no matter how hard I tried to convince his rebellion to take my settlement. So I hunted N’kari instead for half the speed benefit. So “small” imperfection compared to my usual standard.
I also didn’t got for Gotrek because he is a nightmare to find, so the banner that gave unbreakable was my go-to.

As a full disclosure, I used a mod (for infinite movement, research rate, etc.) to be able to collect all lord traits, but I didn't use anything that adds skill points, modifies items, spawn items/followers or anything. This doomstack is purely theoritical and it would be pretty much impossible to reproduce in normal conditions. My objective is just to see how far you can push some high potential lords without the sword of Khaine. So yeah I used the infinite movement mod to avoid spending a year and a few thousands turn trying to reach that. Legend had mentioned in a past video that he didn't care if mods were used to make a doomstack as long as it's not adding skill points, items, etc.

I think most factions should have a building chain that gives more winds of magic reserve capacity. Or they could revert knowledgeable but make it so it only works while the lord is active, like every other factionwide trait bonus. I suppose it isn't a necessity, maybe I'm too invested in magic.

I would've loved to have seen the unholy mess that the doom of hashut would've made of that infantry blob

Having such rich combinations in unique items is something that has really made warhammer stand out.

Although not covered in this video, the cost-benefit & decision making the chaos dwarves push makes their campaign so interesting

If you didn't know the deamonsmith sorcerer metal hero can be upgraded so that all his spells except final transmutation can be cast for free, an unlimited amount of times

Been playing Drazhoath's campaign and he is an absolute menace after level 12 when he gets the mount and his magic online. Currently not too far in but ook forward to getting him up to this point.

I would be interested in seeing a new 1 man doomstack rating based on how early you can achieve the status. This one I think is insane because of how early you can start casting his op spell at extremely low winds costs

ANY GENERIC Sorcerer-Prophet can become an insanely strong one man doomstack.
They are good spellcasters as well as good in melee with their mounts. They have 20% phys resistance in their skill tree + 5% ward save from technology + 5% ward save from hubristic trait. You can farm the defeat traits for another +25% phys res. You can get around 25% additional ward save and up to 20% phys res (the gauntlet of bazharak and oath of contempt banner) from items, give or take depending on the items you have. They also get Unbreakable and Perfect Vigor in their skill tree.
All of this combined we are looking at 65% phys res and 35% ward save. This means we are at the phys res cap. You can get 10% additional phys res from Bale Taurus mount if you are missing some equipment, or you can choose to strip your enemies of magic attack with the Lammasu, effectively turning your capped phys res into ward save. With their spellcasting and army abilities I honestly think Sorcerer-Prophets don't even need armies!

Dang I have to say Chorfs seem like the best recent example of a faction done right the first time. They seem good all around: Legendary and normal Lords, heroes, buildings, upgrades, units, research, and skill trees. None of the stock WH III races seem as amazing, and most are downright meh. Only one I can think of that is even close is maybe High Elves? They've only received minor updates since WH II's release, and they're still arguably one of the strongest races overall. I would say Skaven and maybe Orks are the best example of a faction updated to be great, but released in a not-so-great state.

Idk if its been said, but his spell mastery item I believe is his arcane Item which is also the same slot as the vampire regen thing. I use the regen too but am curious if his legendary/mastery item would be worth it.

Bought Satisfactory after watching your stream. Enjoyed the hell out of it!

You don't need to be unbreakable. Just have a stalking castellan somewhere. Increased mobility is super useful too.
