That’s crazy. We thought vinyl would’ve been dead, never happened and we thought arcade cabinets were dead. I’d love to play one.

This is pretty cool. I love hearing about this sort of thing.

If it was just a marquee reproduction or artwork I would say that they were testing the waters to see how much interest there is for those games, but I would think reproducing the board is a lot more costly on their end and appeals to a much more niche market. I only ever played two of those in an actual arcade, and one wasn't local for me.

One man's tea...
Major Havoc and Gravitar are two of my favourite Arcade-era games, and their inclusion in these new collectible PCB's are what made me click your link (again). Perhaps not popular where you lived at the time, but these two were HUGE for me. (then again I owned a Vectrex - these games were not available for it, but it shows my love of vector games in general.)

The PCB's (at least two of them) will be on my Christmas Wish List. I"ll start working on acrylic shadow boxes as soon as I know dimensions. Absolutely brilliant collectibles for geriatric gamers like me.

Tbh i would have gotten this if it had the chips on the board

The only time I saw a Major Havoc in the wild was at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base PX arcade when it was a new game. I remember liking it and wishing other places had it. I assume they got it since it has the military word Major in it? On that same base there was a greasy spoon who had the first Spy Hunter I ever saw. I thought it was not working after I put my quarter in as I didn't realize it had a pedal (I was like 11 or so).

I bought all three. From the perspective of wall art they are a good deal

so close, if they'd just populate the board with chips i'd be super tempted to build a repro cab. major havoc is fun!

Collectors may like these boards. They’re a cool display item.

Atari should license Pole Position again and make a populated repro board of that. The actual Pole Position board is notoriously problematic, which is why 30+ yr old PP arcade machines are usually out of commission. I'm sure said boards would sell out just from arcade operators buying them up.

My reasoning for the title choices:
*Major Havoc:* Has the distinction of being one of the most technically complex and impressive vector arcade games ever created. Certainly the most varied.
*Black Widow:* A mystery game, in that most people never saw one in the wild. Gotta have one of these in the set.
*Gravitar:* The James Bond movie _Never Say Never Again_ inexplicably features a game room where more than half the cabinets are Gravitar. It's a piece of movie history!

Yeah…. That’s just totally bizarre… 🤷🏻‍♂️

They need to get into the modern console fight against Playstation and xbox

Major Havoc and Black Widow were some of my favorite arcade games to play in the arcades back in the early 80s. These boards, I feel, are the first of many that will be released; however, they are over priced.

I like they are trying new and different things. Throw ideas at the wall (so to speak) and see what sticks to help them make money.I like the idea but not as it is without some change. But you never know, more people then you think may like them and buy them. Just my thought.

i dont think its worth it but if it works maybe and good luck getting a cabin for it.

I'd pay a hundred bucks for a Tempest or Centipede, but I wouldn't pay $100 for any of these, much less $250.

Why not just sell large vinyl prints of the schematics to these boards with some logos or graphics? Customers can frame them. The ink used can be glossy or colored. It would be cheaper to make, cheaper to ship (since they can roll up), and still have some classy value. It's still a niche product, but the price they sink into them is less if it fails and the price a customer has to sink into buying this collectible is less of an encumbrance.
