Thanks for great idea. Nice substantial case has access to controls though a little tight getting the power and volume switch, but for the price more than workable. Took some looking on my frig to find a magnet powerful but thin enough to not bulge the case and press to hard on the screen

Half of a 3/16" rare earth magnet from Radio Shack (part #64-1895) placed just right, under the hand strap on the left, shuts down the tablet when closed but not when it's folded back.

Out of curiosity if they want you to stay away from magnets why would they have included the feature that needs a magnet to use?

P.S. got to solve one problem. When I open the cover all the way flat back (easier to hold for reading) the magnet engages from the back as well and turns it off as well. Need to find a less powerful magnet or a way
