A first look at this brand new mod - glorious indeed!

Im absolutely thrilled that u loved the house. Heartfire homes are extremely difficult to work with as messing with one thing will ruin the scripts is nigh impossible to find what it impacts. Many issues arose as i edited a vanilla crafting trigger that is connected to many items, which has spawned the items back into their original locations which i then have to fix one by one.

It also then decided to disable items that arent meant to thus the missing items. The shrine is meant to be near the vampire den not hiding the treasure room. Ive made a seperate file that has everything enabled so you just need the key to walk in. Due to this nightmare of the vanilla system im just going to redo the enitre crafting system to avoid all these issues so that wont take too long.

Kudos to the mod author, modding the Hearthfire homes is a royal pain (one of the reasons, I'm sure, that we don't see very many of them). Those receipts in your inventory are part of the Heartfire system, that's how it tracks what you've already built, and they should be invisible and zero weight.

Getting back into Skyrim after a few years of not playing.
Just wanted to say I really appreciate this channel. I've watched a couple dozen different housing videos trying to find the right one, and you're one of the few reviewers who actually *look at everything.* I'm sure while you're filming these you think "I should probably move along instead of toying with everything, " but let me tell you, I *really* want to know how much storage a room has, whether it has objects that can be activated or harvested, whether the decor is static or not, what unique item display options there are, etc. Really irks me when the video just glosses over the room! I love this Windstad home mod. I haven't built any hearth fire homes yet. I started a new game, again lol.
The style of this home is delightful and I am with you, I would live there also.

Oh man wow, just wow. The exterior is brilliant. That staff house could totally be one's actual house somewhere and be comfortable. The same with the guard house. Also that greenhouse is brilliant, I just assume there is magic at work to allow for year round growing. hehe. I also really like the bridge looking sitting area, so calming.

Okay oh wow. Wow. Wow. Yeah this is perfect. I'm going to ignore the mod issues and go with the nature of what it looks like it would be and I love the design choices. The flow of the first floor is great. I do wish the cellar had an actual stair to get down to it but the cellar itself is brilliant in design. The second floor seems really great too, though the kids room being a cross area does feel weird, though that might be conflict.

Honestly yeah, this place is amazing and I would jump at living in it. So good.

Wow! What a stunning overhaul of Windstad Manor! I like how there are outbuildings and NPCs as staff. The exterior and grounds are gorgeous and offer a lovely view. The furnishings and decorations are beautifully done. I like the separate aquarium room. I love the bunny and its little bed and food and water bowls! That’s sweet how the mod author memorialized his friend’s bunny. Thank you for showing us another awesome player home. <3

Wow. Another insanely detailed work of art. I have always loved winstad for my typical argonian playthrough. Well good thing i was reinstalling skyrim and mods again. Thanks for excellent walkthrough.

Windstad has always been one of my fav homes, so I'm very happy to see an update of it. Reading through the comments of his page, I'm also impressed with how quickly (s)he responds to peoples concerns or bug reports.
I absolutely love the look and layout of the home!! They did a great update and the deco is beautiful!

I had downloaded the mod the second I saw it on nexus and endorsed the mod before I had even built it in game, don't care what glitches it has this mod is everything I could ever want for Windstad. The glitches will get fixed in time anyways. I've always loved the location of Windstad, and if you use Windstad Mine with this one it gives the feeling of a little town all your own.

Wow amazing job. This is exactly what i'm searching for. So much details. The outdoor room with the chessboard, the Treehouse and the hotpot are my absolutly favourites. Time to install. :D I love modders who puts so much love in their work.

Quick head's up: The mod is currently being hidden on Nexus by the author. I'll keep checking back on it because I like the layout. Great job again!

I noticed that you had a clock a fire place. If you can do that, how about mowing the "lawn". The cold water pool in conjunction with the hot tub, brilliant.

There was one for LE that I think has tremendous potential, with the progress the modding community has made. Port of Windstad. It builds a whole little town around the manor, and if you take an aerial view of the town, it just looks right to me. I wish somebody would contact the original mod author and get permission to revamp it.

And for anyone who says "why don't you do it?" I have kids, and I work 12 hour shifts. It would take me forever to make any meaningful progress.
