I too think outerwear doesn’t go in and out of style as drastically as other pieces do. Partly because of the cost as you mentioned but also just for practical reasons. It amused me when puffer jackets were having their moment because I currently live in Canada and a puffer jacket is just a winter staple every year, whether or not it’s trendy. It’s warm and waterproof so it’s a must especially here in bc.

The whimsy goth look is my fave 🖤 the trend I am stuck with is a pair of mum jeans that do not look good on me whatsoever. Especially cause everyone seems to style them with crop tops, which aren’t my comfort zone…We should stop making denim fits trendy/not trendy and acknowledge that different body types suit different silhouettes!

I loved these looks! My favorite was the one with the green shorts. As for microtrends that could be restyled, I'm thinking of maybe neon green clothes, or cottage core floral dresses!

The more the years pass, i truly believe that anything can be a trend now and also ten years in the future... So i just wear usually simple clothing most of the time, but it's nice to get the creative juices flowing with vintage/trifted clothing, plus, is good for the planet❤️

It’d be cool to see you try the really really oversized, baggy style with the large t shirts and parachute trousers. I think its quite popular in Asian fashion but idk what its called. I love the outfits in this video too!!!

i loved this video and i would love to see the video you mentioned doing at the end about restyling micro-trends!!! personally i still wear stuff that is "out of style" but i just reincorporate it into different outfits and people always seem to think it looks good (obviously i do too!!!!) its sad to see how many trend cycles we go through in just a short amount of time! not everyone can afford to rebuy a whole new wardrobe to fit whats in for the week 😭 id be interested to see what you do with that though!
