Uconnect Theater: How to Connect Remote & Headphones

Both of your Uconnect Theater screens come with their own Remote and Headphones. While you’re free to use other compatible remotes and headphones, you’ll find the Uconnect accessories make it really easy to enjoy the system.

The remote is designed to help you make the most of Uconnect Theater. Use the touchpad like a mouse to navigate through the system. Or use the arrow buttons to click through the options on the screen. It’s totally up to you. Press HOME to return to the source menu or MUTE to silence the audio. You’ll find standard media controls like PLAY, FAST-FORWARD and REWIND. There’s also a SCREEN SELECTOR button to toggle between the DRIVER- and PASSENGER-side screens.

To pair a remote, tap SETTINGS on the touchscreen, tap REMOTE, then PAIR A REMOTE CONTROL and follow the onscreen pairing instructions. The system will let you know when pairing is complete, or if you need to run the procedure again. If the remote ever stops working, try pairing it again.

Each set of headphones has an ON/OFF button, a volume control and channel selection button, so you can listen to whatever is playing on either of the two Uconnect screens. You’ll need to install a fresh set of AAA batteries in the panel behind the left ear cushion. Just slide the cover downward. When you’re ready to tune in, make sure the headphones are ON. The volume should be turned up and not on Mute.

And, when you want to give your eyes a rest, just close the Uconnect Theater screen and enjoy audio only. The video resumes any time you open the screen.

To change the audio mode of your headphones, make sure your Uconnect screen and headphones are set to the same channel. Push HOME on your remote control, then use the remote control’s arrows or touchpad to select the mode you want.

To conserve battery life, the headphones automatically shut down three minutes after the audio system is turned off.

I am looking for instruction how to link NEW Uconnect (branded) headphones to my Pacifica 2019 Uconnect entertainment system. I already have 2 Uconnect headphones linked to my system but I am looking to add a 3rd and 4th headphone. Is this even possible ? If so, this video doesn’t explain how to connect a Bluetooth headset. If you know how, please share the instruction with me. Thank you in advance.
