Great first season. Really grew into itself.

Some shows feel the need to leave endless unanswered questions, but S1 wrapped up satisfyingly, with a solid cliffhanger and possibilities for S2. Bring it on. 😊

Having grown up with the original, I was skeptical of this new series all the way up to the first break, but I stuck it out. And it actually got better. Not perfect, but better. The finale was exciting and I enjoyed every minute of it. One thing I'm enjoying more and more is seeing the team at Quantum Leap and hearing them actually talk about time travel. As a lifelong fan of the genre, the problem with a lot of time travel stories is that it stops being about time travel once the protagonist arrives, and it becomes a period piece with an outsider in unfamiliar territory. A LOT of the original series felt like this, with the exception of a few episodes each season that dealt with causes and affects, paradoxical dilemmas, and time changing switcheroos. I look forward to seeing what Season 2 brings, and my two big hopes are seeing Scott Bakula make an appearance and seeing more of Janice, providing the writers tweak her character a little more to fill in for Al's humor. I think we need a little more of that.

If Addison is going to leap. I would want to see her leap into female bodies only since she's a lady of course, Ben can leap into both male and female. As for women like Addison has to leap into women only. You wouldn't want to see a woman in a man's body? I wouldn't.

I reviewed most of this season... but after 2 breaks in the season I don't see how people that even like the show stuck with it... this show needs sam back desperately

This series is pretty good so far if you ignore the obvious woke token character trope. But at least they make [insert dynamic pronoun] morally questionable instead of outright holier-than-thou.
