This was 7 years ago? I was 13 years in on my climate anxiety at that time, and my acute phase had already been passed. I was spending that time trying to implement Windyday Concept and thought that enough people would listen to fight Big Oil.
But they were too big. Unfortunately, your paycheck was helping them.
20 years ago I was fighting for my children's eventual children. After listening to Shakhova I was worried about my children's world.
Last year (2021) I went before a Swiss court the same week that Greta's group and Extinction Rebellion were also in front of Swiss courts. They took Swiss lawyers and couldn't show a climate emergency and lost. I represented myself and won. But I told the judge that even though Climate Engineers said there was still Arctic Sea Ice, the climate would act as if there was a BOE. I said that within 4 to 8 weeks the weather would be unchained.
it was four.
I had to get my vehicle inspected last Autumn for damages to my vehicle due to an apocalyptic storm 4 weeks after my court date. I was absolutely fucking livid with my insurance company. I had been writing to them for 20 years asking them why they weren't investing in Windyday Concept, to avoid paying for the damages from apocalyptic storms.
Never a response.
I had proposed teaching a course about Windyday concept and climate change in Swiss schools, and even talked about the curriculum with my insurance agent. When I said we could stop fossil fuel use within 6 months, he became physically ill. When I lied and said I would recommend that we change in 2050, he said Swiss business could live with that. I thought he was a real douche, but the course was blocked.
When I had to get my vehicle inspected, I was alone with about 10 insurance inspectors that were dragged out of retirement due to the overwork. I told them that when I was writing to their comany at first I was worried about the children of my grandchildren.
When I really tried to propose my changes for my apartment and received no help, I was worried about my children's world. I told those old farts that now we were seeing the changes ourselves. They listened and no one said a word. But no one was proud of having worked all their lives for a Swiss insurance company.
