I take kitchen tong wrapping each side with rubber bands and soft cloth or microfiber cloth works great

I just cleaned my vertical blinds yesterday. I had just discovered your vids and I had a bunch of them playing while I did it. (Mine were dirty and I took them down, one at a time and washed them on the kitchen table while listening to you. :-) I literally kept getting more ideas of what I could clean that hasn't been cleaned in a long time. Then you inspired me to head to Target and get some supplies. Yay for you.

My husband cleaned them last week with a microfiber cloth and a spritz of water n vinegar. Boom! ;) have a great weekend!

I do a quick dry dusting of my wood mini blinds using the same long mop- style duster you use, weekly. Monthly, I use a damp microfiber cloth and close the blinds and wipe in both directions left/right and then repeat with a dry microfiber cloth. Then I open:close blinds in opposite direction and repeat process. I do find that if I keep blinds closed in direction where people cannot see in through blinds, they stay a little cleaner.

We had aluminium blinds fitted last autumn and I’ve used a hoover a couple of times on the nice side of the blinds but it’s time for a wipe I think. I was going to buy a fancy dusting tool from Amazon but now watched your video I’ll save my money. Thank you.

Yes, this method works. Can I give you some advice? I have been a professional cleaner for 21 years and I used to use dish soap for jobs like this, but when I discovered TSP my life became much simpler. Love Love Love it. I do remove them when they are disgusting and put them in the tub with TSP. Smokers blinds have nicotine on the strings and they only come clean in the tub. Thanks. Hope you are having a fun day :)

I took down my plastic “wood look” vertical blinds one at a time put them on my cupboard and scrubbed the little suckers on each side and re hung them to dry. All you do to remove them is push up and carefully and gently open the little clips and your vertical pops right out.😁

I wash mine at least once a year if not more often because of pets, smoking and grease build up. I use a bath glove because it is textured and rinses well with just a squeeze of my hand. I use a ultra absorbent towel like a Sham wow to catch dirty drips.

I completely agree! I should clarify that they only did it because the blinds were yellowing from sun, and smoking also speeds this process up. So it worked for their particular situation :D
