i track my empties because i definitely have a big collection of products, and if i didn’t actively try and use one of each product at a time until they become an empty i would just never make any progress on using my collection up. using products up makes me feel better about purchasing them, i don’t feel as guilty about consumption because i know i will use it up completely and make it worth it!

a few mutual faves in there - love the deviant cleansing concentrate as well, am nearly finished my 200mL jar (bought another during their summer sale last week). And Nécessaire- their body wash and body lotion are just so nice. .. and the CosRX pimple patches, of course. (doesn't everyone love these?) simple, affordable and effective.
(ETA:) also a huge fan of the skin aqua SPF - love the bigger size and it's creamy, hydrating and has such a nice finish. think I'll note the nivea one for [potential] future purchase.


Great to hear your reasoning behind tracking purchase v usage and working towards more mindful consumption. I do this in many areas of my life but can certainly always do better with my lotions and potions. Do you just use the notes app on your phone, or...?
