As a backslider who was restored many years ago and then had some major trips until God gave me the victory-and He always will-I get it. But our journey is towards His image in us and that we must pursue.

Excusing Misty's horrible, long term sinful actions while still in the ministry as being a "victim" is wrong. She lied to the people for many years, being a false worship leader.

The Bible says "all liars" will go to the lake of fire, " unless they completely repent:

So how is she a victim? I am so confused. she's a grown woman and had affairs so how is she a victim? Please can someone explain? She knew she was sinning.

I know of a guy that had a crush on Misty while all of this was going on, they were quick to alienate him and make it hard for him to live there because of it. She's a big girl and she knew what she was doing, she wanted to be in a spotlight and make money singing, she's not a victim, she's an enabler of this abuse that spread to other women. She knew what she was doing. That's why she was telling this reporter she's not a victim. sick, that's one of the many different reasons I can't trust the church body anymore. There are Christ followers that I do trust, but churches in the states are highly likely to be corrupt in one fashion or another.

As I have understood this girl was just 14 when Bickle was with her. That's a victim. When Prosh, Bickles brother in law came later, she had went into a typical "protective- mode" because noone been abused handles being a victim, and desperately try convince themselves they're in control, but they're not, and never was. She was 14! If she couldn't put up a bariere then, she couldn't later either. Most probably she even has been taken advantage of as a kid. Because predators are experts finding these. AND they're there to kill the worship fire.
