Since they are all infected by glitch trap, or William afton, this means all of the insecurities are cranked up to 19 instead of 11. Monty's anger, Roxy's insecurities, and chica's love for food is exaggerated.

These sounds exclusively come from Chica, giving the implication she is entirely aware of what she is doing and is trapped in her own body. If the focus on her in the DLC trailer is anything to go by, she will likely be the first the player might be able to save.

Y'all remember when the animatronics were lifeless machines (as they should be) who only had any sentientce due to being possessed by the souls of children? Now we've got 100% sentient animatronics with complex personalities (to the point they have things like insecurities), their own designated rooms and that cry because they're being forced to hunt Gregory against their will... might as well just make them people in animal suits at this point.

I don't think they have souls, because in Chica's room, we get a note that states Chica's "personality chip" is a bit quirky. So the robots have a special chip that gives them their personality.  


While Freddy could be seen as that, I still stand by with the idea that Freddys code has the soul of Michael in it. There is some evidence, and it makes sense Freddy is the one being possessed. Crying Child died at the mouth of the main star, Fredbear. Freddy is the main star, so Michael gets to possess him.
