So, fun fact: While anacondas won't display a tremendous amount of parental instinct, the mom will quite often hang around the babies, and the babies around her, for a bit after birth! This can be anywhere from a few days, to a couple of weeks. Mom's will also be pretty protective of the babies, especially for the couple of days after birth.
They're also mega docile if raised from hatchlings, I've worked with babies and adults before!

honestly, i think its poetic that a huge, apex predator like a Green Anaconda goes to a large river and when it dies due to old age, the river gently and gracefully carries the giant dead serpent

“Eventually the jungle takes them back” what a beautiful quote. It’s quotes like these that make me realise that even though humans might’ve left the jungle, we’ve built a much bigger one of our own. We still strive every day to survive in a cut throat world. A couple more quotes like this that I remember are “what is taken must be given back” from Avatar, and “my daughter wanted to leave the forest, only to go into a much bigger one. Eventually she wandered in the forest for too long and got lost in it” from Attack on Titan.
