Friday 22 December 2023. I never ever thought that after so many years of listening to this song (I have the original vinyl LP), and the lyrics, there'd be a night like tonight where these lyrics would hit me so hard, and literally tear my heart to all over again.
If I could have one wish granted in this lifetime then it would be to have the fulfillment of the chorus, and that is to run into the arms of my person, but will he stay or run away? Always and forever in my heart, thoughts, soul and spirit, but alas.
Even if the birds stop singing, and the sun stops shining and all of eternity comes to an end, I'd still be loving

A rediscovered favourite since 1st hearing it i/t mid-90s trying our own Latin-jazz project. Love the cool, contemporary take o/t Samba. Love the tasty i/t pocket guitar riffing .. 2 gtr parts I think😉. Nice danceable tempo💃🏻
