My daughter’s best friend graduated this year from Georgia Tech, and was in the audience to hear this speech. She, too, was very involved in the Catholic center at Georgia Tech. This is the best commencement speech I have ever heard and it’s the most important for young people to hear, today. Thank you so much for inviting Harrison Butker to speak.

I'm neither a GA Tech, nor a graduating student, nor involved with the Catholic church, nor a Chiefs fan... (sideways smiles) but honestly, this is one of the most profound, uplifting, generous, forward-looking speeches I have ever heard! I literally got goosebumps when I listened. HOW ABSOLUTELY HEART-WARMING! He is introduced at 1:36:40ish, and his speech is about seven minutes long. My heart actually skipped as I listened to this absolutely, wonderfully, fantabulous speech! Mr. Butker is TOP SHELF! He needs to school our whack-job administration, what it means to give the RIGHT kind of commencement speech. Wow! Wow! Wow! Georgia Tech grads heard all the right stuff, from a genuine man to look up to. We need more men like Mr. Butker, and more honest, uplifting speech like his! Right On!!!

1:40:50 I think Harrison had good intentions with this message, but marriage and having children isn't right for everyone. Many graduates go on to make important contributions to society and form meaningful relationships without doing either of those things.
