God, such a calming piece of music. Perfect for either getting homework done or when you’re having trouble sleeping, easily one of the best biome musics out there.

Honestly, the Sunken Sea and the Abyss are probably my two favorite biomes in the Calamity mod.

A year later, I still find myself coming back to this video every now and then. Not for homework or sleep, but because of emotions. I find it that whenever I’m in a situation where I can’t get calm no matter what, this always seems to help. It’s very good for dragging one out of a blind rage or a great sadness.

I love this song. It's so calming, and the biome is pretty chill as well.

POV: You stumbled across a railway that leads to the Sunken Sea in your first modded playthrough, and even though you haven't defeated the Desert Scourge, you can just vibe to the music for now.

When this song starts to play, my body naturally takes a very deep breath.

Am i the only person who always makes a base there just to hear this?

I actually like the fact that this biome revolves around the theme of: "Leave them be, they've done nothing to affect you" instead of "Kill them because they want to kill you."

Many mods/games keep revolving around that too much. Seeing an area where you aren't forced to kill everything is actually a good breath of air to take.

Most of the calamity themes have this somber, melencholic tone. I suppose that is to reflect the said backstory, but this one is just straight up chill. Great to have in the background while working

The image in the video and the music itself reminds me so much of SM64’s dire dire docks, which i hold so close to my heart. I love this track.

I love the duality of the sunken sea and the sulphuric sea sharing similar themes with one being tainted with a harsher theme and the other a sanctuary from the harsh desert with a calming theme

This song is one of the major reasons I love having my base in the sunken sea, its calming and just absolutely beautiful, I love it and it goes so well with the overall water and sunken kingdom theme, really representing the beauty of this place

The Sunken Sea music is beautiful. This reminds me of all my times in this game. From my first playthrough trying to beat slime god pre-skeletron to my latest reveangance rouge playthrough around 6 months ago. Bless this game.

Its such a good song, how it captures the biome so well. This gives like a sm64 dire docks vibe with some percussion

Dude I can't believe there was only the original song from DM Dokuro. I thought someone would've made one a while back and at the time there wasn't. And I happened to check again and I find this. Thank you my dude.
P.S you just earned a sub <3

For me this is so nostalgic, because as you might know, it gets dark early on the first half of daylight savings (at least in America). I remember playing at that time and going to this biome, and just relaxing for a while, enjoying the music. I started playing this in 2014, on console, and I loved it. It has taken a place in my heart forever, and its sheer glory makes it my favorite. Calamity is just an extension of that both musically and visually.

Quick Edit: The community and aesthetic of this has solidified the experience for me. Just in itself is perfection too.
