Can you show us how to record a midi keyboard synth (hardware) into a midi track, adjust the notes, then record the midi track to an audio track so i can disconnect my synth after?

Great video, I got MPC to just have a simpler DAW than Ableton for recording quick stuff. You touched on a question I was thinking of...but did answer the last part. So my question was about a clean signal being recorded which you answered...however, so if we record a clean signal and want to add effects do we just use the space where you have guitar rig and add whatever we want to that area (Inserts)? Basically asking if that area is like a master bus? Hope this makes sense.

I have the latest version of MPC beats, but not able to add the plugin in the audio channel? The VST has been scanned recoginesed by MPC. Thank you.
