ABOUT THE SPEAKER -

A medical doctor by professional training, Dr Zakir Naik is renowned as a dynamic international orator on Islam and Comparative Religion. Dr Zakir Naik is the president of Islamic Research Foundation, Mumbai. Dr Zakir clarifies Islamic viewpoints and clears misconceptions about Islam, using the Qur'an, authentic Hadith and other religious Scriptures as a basis, in conjunction with reason, logic and scientific facts. He is 46 years old.

He is popular for his critical analysis and convincing answers to challenging questions posed by audiences after his public talks. He has successfully participated in several symposia and dialogues with prominent personalities of other faiths. His public dialogue with Dr. William Campbell (of USA) on the topic "The Qur'an and the Bible in the light of Science" held in Chicago, U.S.A., in April, 2000 was a resounding success.

His Interfaith Dialogue with prominent Hindu Guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on the topic "The Concept of God in Hinduism and Islam in the light of Sacred Scriptures" held at Palace Grounds, Bangalore, on 21st Jan. 2006, was highly appreciated by people of both the faiths.

Dr. Zakir Naik was featured in the Indian Express list of the "100 Most Powerful Indians" in 2009" and again in 2010, amongst the billion plus population of India. In the special list in 2009 of the "Top 10 Spiritual Gurus of India" Dr Zakir Naik was ranked No. 3, after Baba Ramdev and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, being the only Muslim in the list ... and topping them too in the 2010 list.

Dr. Zakir Naik has been placed in the top 62 in the list of "The 500 Most Influential Muslims in the World" published by the George Washington University, USA.

Sheikh Ahmed Deedat, the world famous orator on Islam and Comparative Religion, who had called Dr Zakir "Deedat Plus" in 1994, presented a plaque in May 2000 with the engraving "Awarded to Dr. Zakir Abdul-Karim Naik for his achievement in the field of Da'wah and the study of Comparative Religion. Son what you have done in 4 years had taken me 40 years to accomplish, Alhamdulillah".

Dr Zakir Naik appears regularly on many international TV channels in more than 200 countries of the world. He is regularly invited for TV and Radio interviews. More than a hundred of his talks, dialogues, debates and symposia are available on DVDs and VCDs. He has authored many books on Islam and Comparative Religion.

The answer to this question is YES. Islam is the true religion and the last prophet of Allah was the best of His Creation. His does not refer to Jesus. If you say Islam is the false and satanic, then it does not make sense. Islam means to submit to God. Prophet teaches us what is right and wrong. Don't say bad words or any abuse about our religion. Islam teaches us not to say bad or argue but to respect. IF people fight us with our religion, muslim will have the rights to fight them. May Allah (God) show us right path and curse the Shaitan. SCIENCE IS a MERCY of Allah on Humans ( Allah is helping us wordly & spiritually) most of the things in Islam whether is HEALTH (circumcission and other sunnah etc etc) WEALTH (interest is haram while profit sharing is the best strategy, Zakat, the best techniqu to remove poverty) ASTRONOMY ( sun, stars, other planets, big bang theory etc etc) CREATIONS (cytoplasm, plants in pairs) GEOGRAPHY( oceans, mountains, etc )and many more facts of THE QURAN '' CONFORM'S with Modern Science. Science can help us in our Eeman as Quran tells us to ponder over Allah's creation's to understand the SUPERMOST MIGHT of Allah azawajal, subhanwatala. BUT Do Not Take Science as the only aspect to bring Eeman because science is always changing even some modern concepts about health etc etc (was moon landing a fake ? ) but ALLAH' s QURAN is the ''SAME' untill the day of judgement God GAVE THIS  LAW OF ISLAM as a WAY OUT of  our  and society's problems OF TODAY
