European Truck Racing Championship - Misano 2024 Highlights - Overtakes, Powerslides, Smoke & More!

The European Truck Racing Championship (ETRC) has returned to Misano with the first racing weekend of the 2024 season. Truck racing is a world of its own when it comes to motorsport. Weighing approximately 5,500 kg, these vehicles use 13-litre engines with a substantial single turbo. The power is monstrous; we are talking about values ​​between 1,200hp and 1,500hp and 5,500Nm of torque! Yes, you read that correctly! This allows it to accelerate from 30 to 160 km/h in less than six seconds. You can well imagine the show put on by the 14 trucks when they are side by side. Each race always offers a lot of fun; crashes, rear-end collisions, overtakes and going off the track are frequent. The video you see refers to Saturday, 25 May; I collected the material produced during the test laps, the Super Pole, the qualifications, and finally, the two races both won by the Hungarian driver Norbert Kiss on MAN, who will also win the remaining ones two races on Sunday returned from Misano with a complete haul of points. L'European Truck Racing Championship (ETRC) è tornato a Misano con il primo weekend di gare della stagione 2024. Le gare dei camion sono un mondo a parte per quanto riguarda il motorsport. Con un peso di circa 5.500 Kg questi veicoli impiegano propulsori da 13-Litri di cilindrata dotati di un'enorme singolo turbo. La potenza è mostruosa, stiamo parlando di valori compresi fra i 1.200cv ed i 1.500cv e ben 5.500Nm di coppia! Si, avete letto bene! Questo permette di accelerare da 30 a 160 Km/h in meno di sei secondi. Potete ben immaginare lo spettacolo messo in scena da dalle 14 motrici quando sono uno affianco all'altro. Ogni manches regala sempre tanto divertimento; sportellate, tamponamenti, collisioni ed uscite di pista sono frequenti. Il video che vedete si riferisce alla giornata di Sabato 25 Maggio, ho raccolto il materiale prodotto durante i giri di prova, la Super Pole, le qualifiche ed infine le due gare vinte entrambe dal pilota Ungherese Norbert Kiss su MAN che si aggiudicherà anche le restanti due gare della Domenica tornado da Misano con un bottino di punti completo. merci bien, c magnifique, ces camions sont de vrais "monstres", une bugatti sort environ +1000 NM de couple, ici C 5 fois plus, C démentiel, il y a un pilote (allemand mais pas sûr) qui a effectué une montée de course de côte il y a quelques années avec un engin" terrible (Man ou Mercèdes) qui développait 1500CV si mes souvenirs sont bons, en tous cas, grand merci!!🤩👍👍👍
