Jake Robbins “Article 58’ Bike Build Project - Chapter FOUR

This is the final chapter of Jake and Will's build of a sprint bike from scratch, called ‘Article 58’. The bike uses an Ariel frame, Jawa 500cc engine and run's on Methanol fuel.
In this chapter they debut the bike at the Malle London ‘The Mile’ event on 2nd July.
The build is a collaboration with Jon Foster, who will be riding the bike at the event. Jon has had a passion for bikes all his life and has been racing dirt bikes in enduro, pre 65 trial and classic scrambles.
Jon’s name for the bike, ‘Article 58’ refers to a Russian penal code used to arrest those suspected of counter-revolutionary activities, dissidents, free thinkers and free radicals. The essence of the build is to be free to fabricate, improve, repurpose and have fun - going against the established doctrine of the modern world.
