Sometimes winter tranch or wind of nature wouldn't work if the yin user is smart not to use his 1st skill on the enemy

as a yin main myself i suggest you build WoN if you are a mm and antique or blade armor if you are a fighter. As long as you dodge his enhanced second skill on the domain you are pretty much safe

Yin can't kill Estes and Estes can't kill him either, if Yin use ult on Estes they just run around awkwardly in his ult👀😂😂

Sun's ult is also a good counter against yin's ult. Use sun's ult which gives cc immune just before yin uses the domain or use the ult right after you enter the domain and it's basically a 3v1 situation. The second choice doesn't necessarily guarantee that you'll survive but you'll most likely deal enough damage to make the yin player question his life choices

Antique quirass' staring item Iron Armor also works well in early game. only 800 coin.
This small item helps against Lance, Saber, Arlott, Lapu etc

As a former Yin main, one of the best way to counter is to buy wind, winter truncheon or defensive item
hero counter Gatok, Thamuz, Tigreal, Vale(Yin can counter vale using flicker so becareful)
Moskov(possibly), Sun(build defence item), Balmond(tank build), Chou(depends on the player)

As a odette main, i suggest to use purify or flicker i build odette with queen wings usually the way it happens is

Yin - Ulti
Yin - 2nd Skill
Yin - 1st Skill
Odette - Purify
Odette - Ulti

Then queen wings will do its job (only works if your hp is below smth)
