So I came to this video to see where it all began, I found your youtube channel a little over a week ago and I can't stop watching. I love the amount of creativity and passion you put into your hobby, you have inspired me to get back into making things of my own. Whether that be art, drawing, or random projects. I was in a dark place before watching your videos, now i wake up feeling excited about what the day has in store for me. Keep doing you and good luck with your videos, I know that you're destined to great things. Thank you Nate.

Dude, it’s kind of cool to go back and see where it all began. His content started from this, and it has evolved into what is has become today, and it puts it into perspective how far he has come along in his 6 year journey, i hope he keeps posting amazing content forever!

I have been watchy since you built your wooden reel, and wow. You have come so far as a bait maker and a person. You have become an expert bait maker and more importantly a great father and husband. I hope to see you continue to be you.

A few people have asked about resin used for lures. I personally like to use “Amazing Casting Resin” by Alumilite Corp. It is a two part urethane resin that hardens clear. You can add silica micro-spheres to it to reduce the density of the resin and get a floating lure.

Hope that helps.
