This Instructor of Music & Mexican-American Studies at Palo Alto College describes how the rich history of Hispanic culture is kept alive in music today. His talk - "Xicanismo and Tejano Music - Local Music, Global Identity & Vision"

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

As a descendant of Native American and Hispanic cultures, This man Juan has history down, I can concur, something I learn reading Texas and American history, even though some of injustices committed by white anglos were left out or justified.

This guy is terrible. Bad historian and bad musician.
Catered to liberals, this is the worst presentation.
