Fei Lun FT011 Brushless RC Boat Unboxing Review

What a cool boat! 4s! Can flip it back over if you capsize! Water cooling! So cool! Cant wait to hit the water!!!!

So far I'm impressed with the size, the looks, the quality (other than a couple small imperfections in the finish, but not very noticeable), all the spare parts/props, a stand, and the simplicity. It is too bad it doesn't come with the adapter for US plug ins, I have a few other chargers so I wouldn't use it anyway, but some others may need it.

This thing is fast, throws a huge rooster tail, stay tuned for the maiden run coming soon!!

Mine runs great, but be sure to grease the drive-shaft before running it. If you loosen the grub screw that connects the u-joint to the drive-shaft, then it slides right out the back. Smear a film of grease on it, then reassemble. Repeat as needed. Only takes a few minutes. I think there are videos of the process here on YouTube.

Finally was able to run it a few times, look for a video of it in action, this boat is a blast!!

#1 to increase turning radius cut the lil stop bumps off the rudder I used a razor 🔪 knife I did both my Ft012 and Ft011 now they turn wicked sharp!!! #2 To stop the Ft011 bow from bouncing ( porpoising ) or acting like flipper...😂 bend the metal trim tab's down 1\8th inch at a time till it stops doing like da flipper 😀..and it's a lot easier to control at top speed!!!😎😎(adding any weight to these boats unless it's a stronger 🔋 battery "will slow the boats down"!!! ) Add a bigger prop and upgrade the battery and they run 50mph+ Hope this helps and have fun!!¡¡!!😎😎

ya i did the measurements 2 packs will fit....a 3s and a 2s..with no probs

you have to remember the 3s and 2s packs aren't as tall as the 4s.. the 2s is very slim

5s? 2 batteries....one 2s 2200mah 30c batt in the nose, one 3s 2200mah 30c in the holder...a t connector/deans splitter to connect....your thoughts John? would it work? 65 watt rated esc i do know that.
