AutoNotification - Gmail READ Button

When XDA reviewed this feature back in October, they said it could be unreliable. From their article:

"This isn’t 100% accurate because there may be some delay between when the Gmail servers records your message timestamp to when it shows up on your notifications, so instead AutoNotification sends a range of times between which it suspects the email was sent. The vast majority of times this is sufficient for it to mark the correct email as read, but if your inbox is overflowing with back-to-back emails sent a minute apart, there may be a rare occurrence of it not working. That’s why the feature is still in beta."

Is this still the case, or has it been fixed?

Notifications created this way do not get cleared from the phone when the message is read in gmail. Is this normal?

Was really excited to see this feature but I can't get it to work. I only get Gmail notifications for one label rather than the inbox (its for urgent messages from specific senders). Messages are moved to the label and out of the inbox. Any thoughts? Thanks

It's a good lil feature everyone needs. However, the app is riddled with ads and constant annoyance of asking u to buy the app

Is this available with WhatsApp as well? They have an option to mark as read within the app but not in the notification

What about a 4th button 'Mark Read & Archive' ?
