I was looking for a torque screwdriver to go with my Wera screwdrivers (which are great and I love) but their torque adaptor is pathetic, only goes up to 3.0 or 3.5NM depending on which you buy.

The Wiha one was a bit better but it looked like a bit of a faff to use, I considered the Draper and I wasn't aware of the Armeg.

I ended up buying a Sealey (non insulated) one which suits my usage well. Some terminals on the inverters we use require 20NM and it can do that, which is unusual. Just uses standard 1/4" hex bits which I carry anyway, and it's all digital adjustment which means no need to back off the setting after use. Time will tell how long it lasts, but it seems to be coping with the depths of my tool/laptop bag pretty well so far!

I have the 13 piece Armeg. Just after I purchased it I transferred into another company, who, decided that only qualified electricians can work on electric, so, as a combustion engineer I couldn’t fault find anymore, I had to call in their sparks to do it for me……………..
First job I did for them, I replaced an AC lift pump that a spark had already bought a replacement, that he said was faulty and returned it for another. I was asked to fit the new pump, which I did, only to find it still didn’t work. A quick check with my multimeter revealed no incoming power, traced back to tripped MCB which was certain to be the original fault 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
The screwdrivers went home, where they now replace batteries in the kids toys. I’m still having to fault find on appliances, then have to call in a spark to confirm what I’ve already proved 🙄🙄🙄
