1956 Chevy Hidden Gas Filler

Sunday, July 3, 2016, 3:27 PM. I've known for years how to find the gas cap on a 1956 Chevrolet, but never got to take a video of one until today. There are a few other cars of this era that have something like this, but this is the coolest one I know of.

When I was a kid my Dad told me that when the 56 came out guys would pull into a gas station and tell the attendant to ‘Fill’er Up” and the watch the guy walk round and round trying to find the filler.

This happened to me the other day. I couldn’t figure out how to unlock the gas tank on my mom’s car so I ripped it off.
