Regarding 0:49, it is not necessary or even advisable to apply starch onto genuine dollar bills. If there is starch on the currency, then it will fail the Counterfeit Marker Test by producing a positive detection. Therefore the detected Counterfeit currency may be rejected.

If you don't have an iron you can soak down old or wrinkled money with Lysol. Get it completely saturated then let it dry flat between two paper towels and it will dry nice and flat as well as a nice fresh scent. Cheers

Or you could go to the bank and when you withdraw money just ask for "ATM Quality" money and you get fresh, un used money straight from the federal reserve. Also if you do this on a high denomination bill and they test it to see if it's counterfeit it will come back as counterfeit.

Unfortunately this doesn't work for Australian notes. Ours are made out of plastic, so they kinda shrink when heated up. lol

if you use starch you'll make the money seem counter because the pens they use to mark money is iodine and it's attracted to starch making it give off a dark blackish color when it's marked that's how they know it's counter fit so if anyone does this run an iodine pen across it and make sure it doesn't make a black mark if so spray hair spray on it.
