After 6 years of using a Bluetooth to FM Transmitter, I am excited to say GOODBYE! No more static and a truly permanent solution! This instillation is easier than you'd think and will work on any car. It turned out amazing and I would highly recommend going the FM Modulator route instead of Bluetooth to FM Transmitter.

This project was done on a GM 2006 Chevy Malibu
BUT the FM Modulator is a universal solution that will work on any car.

I know this is old but if anyone is doing this install just buy a wire splicer.

It means you don’t need to strip the wire back but instead put both into the connector and a piece of metal inside connects them.

Then it’s encased within its plastic connector so the wire will not be exposed at all.

Is the quality of sound and the volume of the sound similar what the commercial radio stations are transmitting. I've been using a fm transmitter that goes into the cigarette lighter. It ocassionally gets static and always has lower volume and sound quality then when I switch to an actual commercial station. Commercial stations sound way better in my car the the current transmitter I have.

Do just choose any empty channel or is there a specific channel?
