Rise up! Falcons pulled it off in one of the most historic games in TNF history. AND I WAS THERE!

All the Thursday Night football games on prime so far has been divisional battles… crazy

If the Falcons are gonna win this game, they can’t afford to settle for field goals. They must score TDs to keep up with Tampa Bay

We need this win so bad. Two back to back divisional wins would light the fanbase up

Falcons win 23-20

Those Red Falcon Helmets are dope. They need to use those 24/7

Falcons fan but I’m going to try and be unbiased:

AJ Terrell has struggled against bigger bodied receivers like Evans in the past, but Mike Hughes been an unsung hero in our secondary so far. It’ll be key to see if they have AJ travel with Evans or not. Either way, I wouldn’t expect too many big plays with Bates-Simmons over the top.

Dee Alford, unlike Hughes, hasn’t been nearly as good in the slot as he was last year. After watching what Rice did to us, Godwin could definitely be in for a big game.

Troy Andersen had the best game of his career last week, won NFC DPoW. His health will be key. Our run defense hasn’t given up a ton of massive plays but also wasn’t able to get off the field consistently until the second half last week. Andersen was a big factor there.

Falcons pass rush has been just as anemic as it’s been for the last 12 years. I don’t expect that to suddenly change, although Baker is one of the more-sacked QBs in the league.

I give slight advantage to Bucs offense but I don’t think Baker will have a big day either.

Bucs secondary has been solid this year. Much ado is made about Pitts’ lack of production, but Mooney and McCloud have been very reliable contributors and London has looked better every week. I don’t think anyone goes over 100 yards but if Cousins can protect the football (only pick last week the receiver fell down) the passing game can be good enough.

Allgeier has outperformed Bijan the last two weeks. Falcons need to keep both involved if the run game is going to have a chance. Bucs run D was mostly excellent against Saquon last week, and he’s been on a OPOY pace.

On paper, Bucs the better team but not by as much as people think. This game could go either way. Falcons have advantage of consecutive home games despite short week. I’ll be a homer and say Falcons 22-20, Koo wins it for us for the second week in a row.

As a current resident of Atlanta, born and raised in St. Petersburg (Tampa Bay), this is an exciting one. Go Bucs!

Going to this game tomorrow, I just hope we can move the ball more like how we did vs. the Chiefs and less how we did vs. the Steelers

Falcons just need to settle down on offense and find a rhythm. Thats how they will win.

This is a great game to welcome the NFL into October football! NFC South divisional game with both teams coming away with a win last week; TB dominated the Eagles while the Falcons got a GWFG against the Saints. Both teams are coming into this game with a lot of bravado. This should be a fun game. But, for this first round, I'm gonna give the edge to the Buccaneers. I think that they have looked quite impressive so far this season, (minus the Broncos game), and they should continue that momentum here coming into hostile territory. Bucs win it by 10, 27-17.

I'll be in Mercedes-Benz for this one cheering my Bucs on! Both teams are talented and both teams are eager to win! It will come down to coaching and who schemed the best. I hope we have competent officials and no injuries on either side. May the best team win 🤝🏾
