British artist David Hockney’s “Ma Normandie” (“My Normandy) show, which opened at a Paris gallery last year, has been the sensation of the season.

Hockney the master. I hope to meet him one day. Beautiful incredible paintings full of joy.

Beautiful paintings, simple yet complex how the artist focused on what the image feels like rather than getting caught up in 'perfect ascetics'. Far from being abstract but not quite realistic. It's the colors that triggers your heart to feel the sunny happiness the artist must have been feeling. Culture/art is essential to a nations psychological health. Great clip France 24. 👍 keeping it classy.

I don't want to ever hear of Hockney again after what he's done to our London Underground. He vandalized a brand new BMW car at the RA a few years ago but this is worse.

Looked like the work of a ten year old. Then I looked and discovered it was.!
