That's almost perfect. Jimminy. The garage/shop is a turn on. I was a serious Wood Turner for 14 years as a "hobby" (not profession), and now that I'm older getting closer to retirement, I'd love a place with a wood shop I could turn and make furniture in.

Still in a little apartment though. But, this sure makes me think. I'm sure the build out you've shown would be way out of my budget though. But still, was very nice to see.

I've been looking at the standard Hickory Floor Plan. But this floor plan looks way better. I love the storm/gun room, great idea! There are a few minor changes to door placements, and since I need a space for my hobby, I need a huge loft area.

Have you ever built half a vaulted ceiling? I was thinking of having the ceiling at 9 feet over the kitchen but have the living room with the ceiling vaulted to expose the center beam. Then, the loft could be open, looking down into the living room from either above the kitchen or master bedroom. The loft would then be accessible from the garage by way of a staircase and a vertical lift. The loft would comprise of a space above the bedrooms and just the kitchen area. I would also replace 3 of the overhead doors with 8 foot tall x 9 foot wide barn doors. I also need some walls added to the garage area. And a people door is located next to the barn door on the front of the garage area.

Loved it unil i saw the master bath/bed layout. Let's put my saferoom/gun room in the humid bathroom. Entering the master through the bath? NO! I know you do what the customers asks for, otherwise great job!
